Celebrating life's special occasions is what we are all about. One of the most special occasions we have an absolute honor being a part of is a bar/bat mitzvah - when according to the Jewish law, a boy or a girl enter adulthood and thus must begin fulfilling the mitzvahs(commandments of the Torah). This is a rite of passage from child to an adult, and all the duties and responsibilities that come with it. We were thrilled and truly honored when Yulia and Eugene (whom we've known for many years) have allowed us to coordinate and decorate Aaron's Bar Mitzvah. Aaron is such an amazing, warm, caring and loving young man - working with him and his parents was nothing short of a pleasure. Aaron's only wish was that we use his favorite color orange and some flowers in the decorations - everything else was up to us! After few brainstorming sessions and few tweaks we came up with two custom built designs featuring geometrical shapes that incorporated candles and flowers. The most heartfelt ceremony took place in the gorgeous sanctuary of Temple Sholom in Burlingame. Following the ceremony, guests were invited into the reception part of the day where DJ Legacy with Marat (of Marat Entertainment) and their incredible team entertained kids and adults alike with traditional activities such as Challah breaking and Candle lighting, beautiful song, dance, and games. While the day started out early with a 10:30 AM ceremony, guests were still tearing up the dance-floor well into the evening(and I bet they could be going on for a few more hours!!!)
