Planning a wedding is difficult enough, but panning it during quarantine makes it so much harder. Erika and Aaron had nearly all their vendors booked when the pandemic broke out. The couple didn't want to push their wedding date indefinitely, instead, they had decided to adjust their plans to comply with the quarantine guidelines and hold a smaller, more intimate celebration. While all our vendors were on board with the new plans, we had to find a new venue that would fit our couple's needs best, and we were lucky to have found a small but cozy gallery with an urban rustic feel that the couple absolutely loved. November weather in the Bay Area can be quite unpredictable, but on Erika and Aaron's special day it couldn't have been better. A slight chill in the air and a light overcast didn't stand in the way of amazing photos the couple took during their first look and at the photo shoot along Embarcadero! The couple's heartfelt ceremony took place under a gorgeous floral arch and was broadcasted live to all their friends and relatives who were unable to attend the celebration in person. During a quick flip of the space post ceremony, the guests and the couple enjoyed delicious food and cocktails on the top level of the gallery. Banquet style dinner that began with the traditional Bulgarian bread breaking led by Aaron's parents (oh yea, Aaron got the bigger piece!) had all family favorite's including stuffed peppers - a traditional Bulgarian dish that paid tribute to Aaron's roots and a "herring under the fur coat" salad that happens to be a fan favorite. The evening was packed with amazing speeches, ton's of shots raised to the couple's wellbeing, and energetic dancing equally enjoyed by all generations. Despite all the challenges 2020 had brought, the couple had the most beautiful day to remember for many many years to come! Huge congrats to Erika and Aaron! May you always have support and love of your friends and family and may your love and friendship continue to flourish!
