Our journey with Roshel and Matt started with a call from their designer and very good friend - Kaki Hockersmith. Kaki needed our expert help in organizing the flow of the day, tying loose ends with the vendors, and ensuring the execution
of all the elaborate parts of the design was carried out flawlessly. From the very first meeting, it was clear that we would be on the same page with the couple. Roshel and Matt are so much in love; their partnership and care for
each other truly shows in their consideration of other's wishes and their ability to find compromises that would work out perfectly for both! After months of planning, the week-long set up production began. From the installation
of a giant 105'x50' clear tent, to ensuring each piece of the golden flatware was in its place, it took our team and about 30 vendor crew members to get it all done perfectly and in time!
The couple's wedding took place at a historic, one of a kind, spectacular place: -
Morgan Estate (aka Stonebrook Court), and Nora, Roshel's mother and the owner of Morgan Estate, was nothing short
of a perfect host! With about 300 in attendance, we had a number of functional spaces to entertain the guests. Upon arrival the guests were greeted by uniquely crafted cocktails served at a modern round bar in the center of the
motor court for easy access. Lush furniture and custom rugs invited guests to take a seat and relax. On their way to the ceremony, the guests enjoyed the view of perfectly manicured gardens and passed under a gorgeous stone arch
fully adorned with vibrant flowers, making this arch the perfect picture spot that was very popular with the guests through the night. Roshel and Matt's heartfelt ceremony took place in the magnificent Grand Ballroom that featured
incredible 16th century European art pieces and a ceiling purchased from the Palazzo Grimani in Venice! Roshel and Matt thoughtfully incorporated beautiful elements of their cultural backgrounds: while Matt waited for his beautiful
bride, his groomsmen, family and friends participated in the Assyrian traditional purchasing of the bride and to pay tribute to Matt's Filipino roots, the Unity Candle/Cord/Veil/Cons tradition was performed at the ceremony. The
second cocktail hour on the patio adjacent to the ballroom followed the "I Do's". The guests enjoyed savory bites and great cocktails in a lounge like setting that featured gold couches, light up bars and cubes. The reception that
took place under the tent was simply breathtaking - from the soft gold details and custom linens, to and incredible flowers, custom cake and a fairy ballerina, who's captivating dance was a perfect prelude to the truly royal Roshel
and Matt's grand entrance! During the dinner, the Grand Ballroom was swiftly transformed into a cool and vibrant club where guests danced late into the night to the beats of an Assyrian band. For those who wanted to step away from
the music and take a load off their feet, we set another lounge area around the pool and Assyrian treats and tea were offered to the guests under the colorful Moroccan tent.
Warm speeches, tears of joy, endless laughter, and non-stop dancing - the night was simply unforgettable!!! Huge congrats to Roshel and Matt! May you always have support and love of your friends and family, and may your
love and friendship continue to flourish!
